Hey there, I'm Teisha! 🤎
A mama and bonus mama to four amazing kiddos, a soon-to-be wife to my best friend, and a girl who discovered a love for capturing life's little moments.
Somewhere between the beautiful chaos of motherhood, cheering from the sidelines, and watching life move a little too quickly, I found myself falling in love with the memories a camera could preserve. What started as a simple passion has grown into a little dream, I call Laurel & Lumen Photography.
Whether it's little athletes giving it their all on the field, families sharing genuine belly laughs, a glimpse behind the scenes of someone doing what they love, or the magic of a golden-hour sunset, I find beauty in the moments that tell a story.
I'm drawn to warm, earthy tones, a touch of moody charm, and all things naturally beautiful. I believe some of the best photographs come from those perfectly imperfect moments when you're simply being yourself.
Laurel & Lumen is where light meets memories. A reflection of my love for preserving life's beautiful moments, big or small, and the stories behind them.
At the end of the day, I'm just a mom with a camera, a creative heart, and a growing dream. I'm learning as I go, embracing the journey, and incredibly grateful for everyone who chooses to be part of it.
Because to me, photography isn't just about how a moment looks. It's about remembering how it felt.

Do you travel for photoshoots?
Laurel & Lumen Photography is based in beautiful Yakima, Washington, and currently serves clients within approximately a 40-mile radius of the Yakima Valley.
While I love capturing special moments close to home, I have big dreams of expanding my photography services throughout Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho, including Spokane, WA, and Sandpoint, ID!
As my photography journey continues to grow, I look forward to offering sessions in more locations. Have a special place in mind? Don’t hesitate to reach out! I’d love to hear your vision and explore the possibilities together.
What should we wear for our session?
Your session should reflect YOU! Whether you have a specific vision in mind or need a little inspiration, I'm here to help bring it to life!
We can chat about your vision, explore outfit ideas, and coordinate colors and styles that complement your session. Or, if you already know exactly what you love, show up in whatever makes you feel comfortable, confident, and authentically yourself!
At Laurel & Lumen Photography, my goal is to capture genuine moments that reflect your personality and tell your story. There’s no perfect outfit, just the one that feels right for you and brings your dream photos to life!
How long does it take to get our photos?
Good things take a little time, and your memories deserve the care and attention that goes into every image! My goal is to deliver your beautifully edited gallery within 4–6 weeks of your session, depending on the style, size, and details of your shoot. I intentionally plan maintain a balanced booking schedule to ensure every session receives the time, creativity, and attention it deserves without rushing the editing process. I appreciate your patience and trust as I bring your memories to life. I promise they're worth the wait!
Do you offer albums or prints?
At this time, Laurel & Lumen Photography does not offer physical prints or albums. Your beautifully edited images will be delivered through a digital gallery, giving you the freedom to download, share, and print your favorite memories however you choose!
While prints and albums aren't currently part of my services, I'm always dreaming of ways to grow and expand what I offer. Who knows what the future may hold!
For now, my focus is on creating timeless images and meaningful memories you'll cherish for years to come.
